bmd Magnetic Coupling

The Buchi ‘bmd 75’ magnetic coupling is used for mixing low to high viscosity media in closed reaction vessels.

With a torque of 75 Ncm, these couplings are designed for operation under extreme conditions, with a temperature range of -50 °C to +200 °C, and they can withstand a full vacuum of -1 bar.

The magnetic couplings are made from durable materials such as stainless steel, Hastelloy®, tantalum, titanium and ceramic. They work seamlessly with external agitator motors and can be easily adjusted manually or via a frequency converter for precise speed control.

In addition, Buchi bmd magnetic couplings are also available in models suitable for ATEX-certified areas, ensuring safe operation in potentially explosive environments.
