Willi Möller AG, an internationally recognized producer of electrochemical sensors, and Schmizo AG, which is specializes in the manufacture of customized glass apparatus and laboratory reactors, today announced their strategic cooperation. In the course of a succession plan, the two companies are merging in order to strengthen their market position and with the aim to utilize synergies. Despite the merger, both companies will continue to operate as independent entities.
In order to ensure a sustainable continuation of its successful business activities, Willi Möller AG has looked for a successor for quite some time. The decision to merge with Schmizo AG is the result of a long-standing business relationship and a common understanding of quality, commitment, innovation and customer-orientation.
Independence will remain
Even after the merger, Willi Möller AG and Schmizo AG will continue to operate their business activities independently of each other. Both companies will retain their existing brand names, customer relationships and production sites. However, the merger is intended to utilize resources more efficiently and to strengthen innovation through the exchange of know-how and technology.
