The main difference between a magnetic stirrer drive and a conventional stirrer drive using sealing solutions such as rubber gland, lip seal or mechanical seal is the fact, that the stirrer shaft is driven without any contact to the static seal. Therefore, the rector is hermetically sealed.
The external and internal magnet are connected contactless through a strong magnetic field. The external magnet is located outside the pressure chamber. The internal magnet is located inside the pressure chamber is connected to the stirrer shaft and rotates simultaneously with the motor driven external magnet.
